I have been commissioned in the years
past to make a couple of murals depicting the five biblical Patriarchs
of Genesis. This inspired much research and travel into the remote desert
regions of Israel and other historical sites. I have returned to this
theme occasionally, and this engraved and painted wood panel depicts the
Twelve Tribes, offspring of Jacob, on Jacob's return journey from Harran
to Canaan. This event marks the beginning of the Hebrew nation.
