This painting is my vision of the of
a group eager souls setting out on an exciting journey 'in search of a
new home'. Many such dangerous and risky voyages must have been undertaken
in order to find and settle new island populations in the vast Pacific
ocean. Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Hawaii and many others, share common
origins which attest to this adventurous spirit.
